There was play time too

Not to worry. While at times it seemed like it was all work, we really did have some time to enjoy the holidays. The day before Christmas and the day after (Boxing day) are holidays. As is New Year day, and the day after New Year day. So almost half the time I am in Ghana, it is a national holiday of some sort.




For such a deeply relegious country, I was suprised to see that Christmas eve and Christmas Day are big days to dance and drink and party. More than a couple nights I was out dancing to the hiplife beats at the Morgan Spot in Kisseman. I gave some CDs to the DJ and he burned me 4 CDs of some outstanding Ghanaian hiplife.
